Job Title/ Sales- Freight

Job Summary:
Responsible for generating new Air & Sea Freight business opportunities with a clear focus on SME customers. They have a thorough, up-to-date, and in-depth understanding of the trade lane in terms of the geography of the trade, and the service offering, such as sailing, transit times, reliability, specific country document station regulations, local standers, operational requirements, as well as the type of industry/goods/commodity traded on the particular routs.

 

Responsibility:

  1. demonstrate superior Air& sea logistic product and trade knowledge
  2. deliver a presentation about our main Air & Sea logistic products
  3. identifying and calling on potential new customers, creating value propositions that meet the customer’s needs, managing implementation, developing ongoing customer relationships, and troubleshooting customer problems
  4. Achieve revenue targets, retain customers, increase customer base and ensure collections are maintained within company standards.
  5. Closing deals for both prospects and existing customers through presentations, contract negotiations, promoting and explaining services features and benefits, and solving obstacles.
  6. Analyze revenue and shipment results and take corrective actions to drive the company revenue quality.
  7. Increase sales revenue and expand client base by acquiring new business and retaining an existing customer base.
  8. Meet reporting timelines including weekly, monthly, and one-off reports
  9. Ensure maintaining a good number of prospective customers to support achieving the assigned revenue target
  10. Maintaining customers’ issues and inquiries, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring a timely response is provided, a high customer satisfaction level is achieved, and existing customers are retained.
  11. Provide full support in customer’s special/one-off project requirements, coordinate with the respective stakeholders, and monitor the project till successful implementation is achieved
  12. Maintain required documentation and files for all active, non-active, and prospective clients.
  13. Daily coordination with the operations department for any customer issues.

 

 

Job requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or similar discipline
  • Specialized at selling freight services both air & sea with minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Has owns a car
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
